Key Information

Snack and water bottles

Please provide a healthy fruit snack and a drink each day.  Please ensure your child's water bottle and snack box is clearly labelled with their name. 

 

Lunch

At lunchtime, your child is entitled to a hot meal each day or sandwiches provided by the school kitchen.  Should you prefer to provide a packed lunch, please ensure there are no nuts such as nutella chocolate spread or peanut butter, as there are pupils with allergies.  

 

Suits and Boots

In Bedwas Infants , we love to spend time outdoors. Please provide a waterproof suit (or trousers and coat) with Wellington boots in a carrier bag. Please ensure all items are clearly labelled.

Suits and boots will be returned at the end of every half-term to be cleaned.


Days to Remember

Thursday  PE

Your child will need to wear:

  • Jogging bottoms or shorts
  • Trainers
  • T-Shirt
  • Jacket or jumper
Friday Morning : Forest School

Your child should already have Suits and Boots on their peg ready for Forest School. They can use these each week.

Your child will need to have:

  • Wellington boots
  • Waterproof suit or trousers and coat
  • Indoor shoes (in bag)

Children  are encouraged to be independent  getting into and out of their waterproof clothing, coats and boots. Please support your child with this by also encouraging independence at home wherever possible. 

 
If it is hot weather:
  • Sun hat
  • SPF
